The A.C.T. - The Acton Cooperative Theater

Covid Policy

(Updated 7/21/23)

The A. C.T. may change these stated guidelines as additional requirements and policies are published by the state and we will notify our families if/when any changes are made. Proof of vaccine or medical/religious exemptions will be required at auditions from all cast members, volunteers and production crew.

Masking: The A.C.T. is mask optional. However, we will support anyone who wishes to mask to continue to do so. As the Covid situation remains fluid, we will continue to adjust our policies as needed.

Ventilation: For maximum air flow, we will leave rehearsal doors open and open windows and outside doors as the weather permits.

Cleaning: The rehearsal rooms will be cleaned and sanitized by the custodians and/or cleaning crews from the church.

Hygiene: We will provide hand sanitizer and require all cast members and production crew to sanitize or wash hands before rehearsals, techs and shows.

We will continue to follow the CDC guidelines for masking, positive results, isolation through day 5, and return to rehearsals/ tech/performances days 6-10.
Please understand  that if your child tests positive, they will not be able to attend any rehearsals, tech or performances until day 6 and a mask will be required through day 10.

Please take these policies seriously as we try to keep our cast members, production crew, volunteers and our families safe and well. We would hate to cancel any rehearsals or performances due to a Covid outbreak.

Please note: We will have masks available at rehearsals and in the lobby at performances should anyone request one.
